Fashion Fridays: Steals and Deals

June 13, 2014 by Gindi Leave a Comment

Alrighty, I’m a little overwhelmed at work, so I thought I’d offer up a quick and easy Fashion Friday today: an updated Steals & Deals.  Everything is under $100, and although that still might be a little pricey for the necklace, given the amount of the markdown, I kept it on the list.  Here are my four picks for June:

I love this stripe ponte skirt on sale at Black House White Market.  It’s such a fun item for summer.  With a punch of pink at the bottom you can dress it up with heels and a blouse for work or dress it down with a halter and sandals for a date.  And sitting at $50 it’s a bargain:

Stella and Dot Oasis Bib necklace – This is a perfect on-trend item, and it reminds me of the beach for the summer.  I would never pay $200 for it, but at 50% off, it’s worth considering at $99 (Stella & Dot has better quality costume pieces):

Gap V-neck tees are the best for running errands on the weekend or hanging out with the kids.  They are super soft and I like the fit better than Target or Old Navy.  These striped tees come in four colors and are on sale for $12.99:

If you are willing to buy off season, this is a killer suede sandal in crimson come fall.  The heel is sturdy enough to keep you from toppling over and the metallic adds a cool edge to it (yes, I know it’s technically an ankle strap, but it’s attached to the back so don’t kill me).  As a Calvin Klein marked down from $109 to $39, it makes the best mark down of the whole set:

Welcome

Come on in. I have a reservation just for you. I know life is busy. I would love for us to step out for a relaxing lunch but schedules don't always allow. So let's pop open that salad or sandwich sitting in front of our computers, and we'll have lunch right here. A few minutes is all we need to connect to community.
